Are you at pet lover? Want to help a homeless animal find the home it deserves? Whether you’ve helped rescue animals in the past or you’re just starting and want to learn how to help, we have volunteer opportunities for you! We rely heavily on the support and energy from our volunteers, donors and event partners, since they assist us in finding wonderful people to adopt our shelter animals and raise awareness about our mission to save homeless cats and dogs. Our work is 100% non-profit and all of our rescue work is done after normal business hours.
What we need volunteers for:
Finding foster homes for our animals
Staffing find-raisers and events
Website maintenance
Developing and implementing media outreach campaigns to assist in raising awareness for FOSMAS’s mission to reduce the homeless rate of animals in Santa Clara County
All volunteers must complete a volunteer application, a release of liability form, and be available for training and orientation.
